Coffee is a MUST!

Good Morning!

Well Max has been up since 2am but luckily Alex took over for awhile and then it was Mommy Duty Time at 4am!  LOL!!   After I spent time pumping (morning ritual) I figured I better just stay awake and get my day started.  But first I NEED COFFEE stat!  hahaha!   Although my coffee habits are starting to make me feel dehydrated when I wake up.....Haven't been drinking my 8oz when I wake up this week.  I'll be sure to start this habit again.  Water does wonders to the body......Drink Up Ladies!

As my coffee has kicked in I was excited to log on to my blog to see if I had any new comments (I didn't) but I noticed my review numbers was higher - YAHOOOOO!!   For those that are following THANK YOU!  I'm a social media type of gal..Love FB and IG but I'm limited to express how I feel.  And now with blogging I can continue to share my life journey but also express my feelings all around.    Everyday I wake up with the thought "How can I inspire someone today?".....whether it be a post about my workout, scriptures, pic of Max or a glimpse of my life.  I've always been an open book type of person and I know that God has designed me to be this way.  Some think I'm being boastful, so think I share too much and some just LOVE that I'm an open book.  Good thing for me I focus on the positive rather than the negative.  Life's too short to focus on the naysayers and to keep my blessings to myself.  I'm called to be the light!    WIth that all said and done stay tuned for me posts about my life!  Whether it's working out (which I LOVE), hanging out with The Maximus or sharing something deep in my heart.

HAVE A BLESSED DAY!

Moments with the Hubby

Maximus went down for a nap which meant Alex (the hubby) and I could enjoy some quality time. We enjoyed a healthy dinner, red wine and a great conversation about being a Team. We both have busy schedules, we both have goals and we both have careers that we are striving in all the while adjusting to parenthood. I will say that we are doing a pretty good job at it. Reason being we have God centered and we just love Maximus to pieces.

I would encourage you to spend a few moments each evening with your spouse and engage in conversation. It can be about the weather, your favorite sports team or a deep intellectual conversation about LIFE. Having a strong marriage is very important for parenthood. You're able to work as a TEAM! Yes, I know we've only been parents for two months and we have alot to learn/experience but what we have experienced already has only made us closer ~ Team Zapien

And for that I'm blessed with these "moments".
